This is a remarkably clean AW11 MR2, one of Toyota’s most legendary sports cars! The first generation MR2 was Toyota’s answer to the supercar epidemic of the 1980’s, with flashy Ferrari’s stealing the show with their power, looks, and handling. Enter the AW11 MR2, a budget-priced mid engine japanese sports coupe that could keep up with it’s European rivals. This particular MR2 came optioned with the powerful 4AGZE Supercharged engine. With a Curb weight of only 2400 pounds and a precise 5 speed manual transmission, this MR2 drives and shifts like a dream and really impresses for it’s size. While the MR2 is a popular platform for tuning and modification, we are pleased to say that mechanically this car has remained completely stock! Visually however, there have been a few tasteful mods performed that really make this car stand out from the crowd. The first thing you notice is the immaculate Dark Blue Metallic paint job, which contrasts really well with the matte bronze finish on the classic Rays TE37 wheels, a must have for any JDM car! This MR2 has also been fitted with an aftermarket quad tip exhaust, which not only looks great but really amplifies the 4AGZE noise! The body lines on this vehicle are simply perfect. Moving towards the interior of the car, it is obvious that the previous owner kept this classic in excellent condition. The only modification that has been made is a tasteful MOMO Corse steering wheel, which replaces the clunky OEM unit. Overall this is a fantastic budget mid engine car that looks and drives great.
