The listing is for a clean and low mileage 08 Forester EJ253 AVLS engine. This is a 2.5L sohc engine. It fits 06-09 Forester, Outback and Legacy. The JDM EJ253 engine is a naturally aspirated 2.5-liter horizontally opposed four-cylinder engine produced by Subaru. It was pulled from a running vehicle in Japan that had low miles. This engine was fully tested before being removed from the donor vehicle. It is again fully compression tested before being shipped out. The engine comes with a 90 Day Warranty on the engine internals. Please have a certified mechanic perform the installation and change all the wearable parts before installation. This engine has been fully tested, the actual engine compression test video is attached for the viewer.
