Fitment

2006–2007 Subaru WRX and STI

On a 2006–2007 Impreza WRX or STI, these parts bolt straight on. Therefore, it’s an easy way to replace a damaged front end after an accident or to upgrade to STI parts.

2002–2005 Bugeye and Blobeye Conversion

For a 2002–2005 WRX or STI, the Hawkeye front end works as a conversion rather than a bolt-on. First, the radiator support and headlight mounting points differ, so most installers drill out spot welds and weld in the Hawkeye support. Next, they trim the inner fenders slightly and add mounting points for the headlight supports. After that, they rewire the headlights, because the Hawkeye uses separate low and high beam bulbs and an extra running light. Fortunately, plug-and-play adapter harnesses make the wiring much easier. Finally, a body shop can blend the paint if your car’s color differs.

In short, plan this conversion with a body shop or an experienced Subaru installer.

Will this front end bolt onto my 2006–2007 WRX or STI?

Yes. On 2006–2007 models, the panels and headlights bolt directly into place.

Can I put a Hawkeye front end on a 2002–2005 Bugeye or Blobeye?

Yes, but it takes more work. Typically, you’ll swap the radiator support, trim the inner fenders and rewire the headlights.

Do the HID headlights plug into my older WRX?

Not directly. The Hawkeye uses separate low and high beams, so you’ll need an adapter harness or custom wiring.

What color are the panels?

Is there a warranty?
