This is a 1997 Nissan 180SX “Type X” that was clearly a well taken care of automobile. It came factory equipped with the legendary 2.0 turbocharged “SR20DET” engine and features a 5-speed manual transmission. The engine and trans work flawlessly with no issues. The engine has good compression and the transmission has no grinds or pop outs. This example features a gorgeous black paint with a glass-like finish. This vehicle appears to have been used sparingly to drift as well, featuring a drift button on the handbrake, and some slight power modifications. Luckily the body is free from any corrosion and there are no major rust spots present. The exterior wears a full Type X body kit with an aftermarket wing, and sports a set of X Cross speed aftermarket wheels. The interior features a few comfort oriented additions, like an aftermarket Pioneer Media unit, and additional Pioneer Carrozzeria TSX180 Speakers mounted in the rear. This 180SX also has the original Type X floor mats that are so sought after, and the original 180SX cloth seats show almost no signs of wear with bolsters that will still hold you firmly in place. The dash has no cracks throughout and features an added functioning water temp gauge. The climate control display is fully functional and all dash buttons and switches work. The odometer shows 137,974 original kilometers which only translates to about 85,733 verified miles. A BLITZ sus-power core type LM intake, unbranded exhaust, and unbranded front mount intercooler provide a modest power boost over stock while still maintaining reliability, and a HKS turbo timer gives versatility behind the wheel.
