The R32 Nissan Skyline is a timeless chassis that has been battle-proven in racing, drifting, and high-speed highway runs on the Wangan. While once plentiful on Japanese and U.S shores, the availability of clean imported R32’s has seriously dwindled within the last year, leaving only a few good examples up for sale at any given time. Luckily, this 1993 R32 is still in good shape, and is a turn-key ready sport coupe that’s perfect for its next owner to modify or keep as-is! This GTS-T model was equipped with the turbocharged RB20DET motor from the factory, a punchy powerplant that delivers a substantial amount of torque in the low end, and a smooth shifting 5 speed manual transmission. Coupled with a Rear Wheel Drive platform, this GTS-T is a Japanese classic that can rival many modern tuner cars, and do it in style. The exterior is finished in a respray of the OEM black paint. Nissan paint of this age is notorious for having clearcoat issues, so we made sure to remedy that by giving the vehicle a complete exterior makeover. The exterior of this vehicle is stock with the exception of a set of silver BIM Zeit 6 spoke wheels, a rare option manufactured by Bridgestone of Japan. 6 spoke wheels on the R32 chassis is a timeless combination that’s hard to beat, and these rare Bridgestones sweeten the deal even more. The factory wing was removed from the car during it’s time in Japan, with the holes for the trunk left open to be filled by a body shop or to accommodate for a replacement unit. This tame exterior is a blank canvas for the next owner to go wild with crazy JDM aero, or keep it simple with conservative OEM + mods. The interior is quite clean as well, with a few tasteful upgrades that enhance the raw driving experience of this powerful R32. The most noticeable upgrade would be the addition of a set of clean R33 GTR seats. These greatly improve upon the lackluster bolstering in the stock GTS-T seats, and the blue accent stitching adds a subtle splash of color to the grey interior. A Nardi steering wheel replaces the clunky OEM unit, and an AutoGauge boost gauge helps the driver constantly monitor the performance of the RB20DET’s ceramic turbocharger. The dash is free of any cracks or fading, however it has fallen victim to Nissan’s notorious dash bubble. As seen in the pictures, some interior bits will need a little TLC, but for a 26 year old vehicle these defects are to be expected. Mechanically, however, this car runs superb. The RB20DET fires right up and pulls incredibly well throughout the powerband. An aftermarket intake has been added, which frees up the restrictive airbox and really brings out the intoxicating turbo whoosh. A rare MOMO Corse catback system was installed in Japan, and really accentuates the beautiful inline 6 sound without being too overbearing. A set of aftermarket coilovers were added in Japan and seem to be set up perfectly for drifting! This vehicle has been well taken care of in our hands. Apart from doing the respray we have performed a full tune up on this vehicle so it’s ready for you to drive and enjoy!
